Improve Patient Outcomes
The Monitored Rehab Cube (MR Cube) was designed with one thought in mind – to improve patient outcomes. The MR Cube is a new, state-of-the-art testing, training and rehab tool designed to provide unsurpassed development of the neuromuscular system. Designed to maximize “time under tension” during rehabilitation exercise, the MR Cube actually fatigues muscles faster during rehab sessions and in doing so, improves the neuromuscular function of the body part being rehabbed.
The Monitored Rehab Cube can be used in a stand-alone mode or interfaced with any piece of gym or rehab equipment including tubing, bands, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, in essence, anything with a component of linear motion. By utilizing the MR Cube, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers can suddenly make their patients’/athletes’ workouts more motivating and enjoyable by using video game interaction and competitive scoring (Gamification techniques) to enhance their therapy/workout experience.
So what is Gamification? Gamification is simply the use of game mechanics (video game images, scoring tools, dashboards, etc.) which create a game-like experience to digitally engage and motivate the patient/athlete to achieve their goals of the therapy regimen or training exercise they are engaged in. Essentially, Gamification helps to “engage” end users at a higher level and by doing so, improve patient outcomes.
Patients and/or athletes see optimal results in terms of improvements of coordination, control of movement, reaction time and overall power and strength in less training time when using the Monitored Rehab Cube.
